the start of something new (like in high school musical)

Hello friends!

My name is Mary Botz, and I'm pretty sure if you're reading this you already know a lot about me. I am a 22 year old girl from the 'big city' of Billings, Montana who moved to the real big city of Minneapolis, Minnesota almost four years ago. My friends suggested that I start a blog (shout out Jada, Maci, and Kenedi), because I am very wise and knowledgable... You got me, it's actually because I'm stuck working as a barista when my dream is to be stuck in the shelves of a musty library.

Since my move, I have been able to discover so much about who I am outside of familial expectations, and that of the friends who have known me since braces and bangs (I burned the evidence). I know that no one will likely read any of my posts, but I do feel as though I have insights into what it's like growing up in today's culture, and how we're supposed to manage moving, college, graduating, job searches, and moving again while not on health insurance and trying to find our own phone plan.

I'm not positive if this blog is going to be linear life, story telling, random stuff, or a mixture of everything. But if you feel like checking in every once in a while to know you're not alone in crazy life feelings and stresses, or if you just want to be assured that someone is more anxious than you lol, all are welcome :)
